This Way Up

This was the first of two comedies written by Elizabeth. The story centres on four women: Sally, whose actor husband is the infuriatingly unreliable and unfaithful Dermot; Christine, married to a man who is only really married to his scientific life; Virginia, living in poverty with an astounding secret; and Alicia, whose Tory MP husband is possibly the most selfish and conniving man on the planet.  In THIS WAY UP, all four survive their predicaments, but not before discovering the astounding link between them all.  ‘Wry humour that errs on the right side of black’ Heat Magazine
